THE INSPIRATION
The
inspiration for Bayfield Mews has come about through a partnership
of community organizations and area residents who wanted to create an accessible
seniors development which is more than just a place to live. Bayfield Mews
offers an opportunity for private independent living in the social and
supportive atmosphere of small town living. We offer a selection of town-home floor plans to choose from,
a lifestyle free from the day-to-day worries of maintenance and security. We cut the
grass and shovel the snow and you have the freedom to lock the door and go and
spend time on things that are important to you.
THE PROJECT
Bayfield Mews is a planned
retirement campus designed specifically for senior adults over 55. The 14-acre complex
will consist of clusters of town houses centered around a multi-purpose
activity centre. Residents of Bayfield Mews purchase a life interest in their housing unit. Life Lease developments are the emerging lifestyle option for today's retiree. The owner of a Life Lease has the exclusive right to occupy the suite selected and to use the common facilities for as long as desired.
